Canopy Credit Union cares deeply about serving those who may not receive affordable financial services elsewhere. That’s why they are offering rates as low as 5.99% APR on personal loans for one day only on Thursday, February 25th.

This is the third year Canopy will be providing this one day only personal loan special.  Over the past two years, they received over 200 applications and funded over $1.5 million of these affordable loans.

“Canopy’s loan special saved me $300 a month in loan payments and allowed me to refocus my financial goals as I continue to renovate my house,” said Amber Bocook, Canopy Credit Union Member.

In a recent Nerd Wallet study, 42% of participants had been financially impacted by COVID-19 and as a result the majority either borrowed more money or took money from savings to pay for bills and necessities.

“With so many in need of affordable financial services, offering this low-rate loan is one way we can help alleviate financial stress for our community. If the applicant qualifies, they will receive as low as 5.99% APR or 2.00% lower than their regular qualifying rate,” said VP of Member Experience & Lending, Guy Ottersen.

“We feel this one day only loan special is one small action we can take to provide hope to those who may feel burdened by their financial situation  right now,” said Canopy President/CEO, Charlotte Nemec.

Canopy Credit Union is offering personal loan rates as low as 5.99% APR with a loan term of 36 months. No internal refinances. Applications must be received on Thursday, February 25th and applicants must become a member of Canopy Credit Union. The best way to apply for this loan is online at www.canopycu.com/special

“At Canopy we feel that whether you are financially stable or struggling, your banking experience should be easy and accessible.  We find when you empower people to understand their money and what it can do for them, they are happier and more confident. When they feel this way, it affects not only those close to them but our entire community,” said Nemec.
